LIN ELDER

December 1, 1997, I was at Jann Arden'concert that night. I took note of the bongo player right away. Then Jann started singing and I soon realized that the bongo
player was Jann's backup vocalist. Lin Elder was Jann Arden's backup vocalist for years, and now she is starting her solo career. She is incredible live, she sang
"'Bout You Beauty" and "Until I'm Clean". I nearly cried at the song "Until I'm Clean", it's a beautiful song. After the concert I bought Lin's CD "One Beautiful Wife".
I was not disapointed, the CD is incredible and Jann Arden is her backup vocalist on the album.
A few of my favorite songs on the album are "Flowers & Things", "Washington Square" and "Close To God", though I do love the songs she performed at the concert. The
unfortunate thing is that I know absolutly nothing about this great artist other than she writes her own songs and plays the accoustic guitar and various insturments such
as the bongos and triangle. I will keep my eyes open for more information on her.
Lin is going on tour this summer! Unfortunatly, she's not coming anywhere near here. Apparently she will be appearing at Lilith Fair for a couple dates though.
"Flower & Things" was released, but I haven't heard it on the radio at all, I wonder if there was a video made? The next single to come out will be "Sorry For Your
Heart". Anyone in Canada wishing to support her please bug the crap out of the radio stations, trust me, her music is worth it!
I wrote Lin an e-mail and heard back from Lori, who is taking care of her e-mail and stuff for Lin while she is getting ready to tour. I recieved a "Letter from Lin"
and when I get a chance, I will scan it and post it here.
